While I’d like to think that every day is Make a Difference Day, it’s great that tomorrow, Oct. 27, is set aside as a special day to volunteer in our community. My family and I have many special memories of reaching out to help others, through my kids' schools, our church, and just a few months ago on Windermere’s Community Service Day. We had so much fun sorting canned food, it was definitely a highlight for us to help out at Hopelink in our small way.
Making a difference is one of the best parts of my job as a Realtor. Since buying and selling a house is ranked as one of the most stressful life situations, my goal is to make the process run as smoothly as possible. While in a perfect world I would love to sell a home with a full-price offer the first day on the market, or find a dream home in a buyer’s choice neighborhood at an affordable price, it normally doesn’t happen that way. But by listening to my clients and understanding their situation and specific needs, I can use my knowledge and experience to navigate through the selling or buying process with less stress and great results.
Being accessible, reliable, and putting myself in their shoes as I handle the transaction does make a difference in how it turns out. There's joy from sorting canned food as well as helping a family through the house buying and selling process. I get just as excited as a family does with the purchase of a new home!
