It opens this Friday, Oct. 5 – the Seattle Home Show 2, featuring a new products pavilion, nearly 400 displays, and ongoing home improvement and design seminars. Everything from outdoor rooms to appliances and building products will be featured, making it a one-stop shopping center for all the latest products and services for the home.
Whether you’re looking for kitchen, bathroom, home design, landscaping or holiday-season decorating ideas, you’ll find more than you ever imagined. I always come away excited to begin a new project, and my bag overloaded with take-away information. It’s a place where you can pick up do-it-yourself project directions, remodel plans, or dream home products. It’s also a great place to shop and compare – under one roof!
One of my favorite things to do is watch the cooking demonstrations. Well-known chefs from a variety of local restaurants give cooking demos of their popular signature dishes. The samples are always delicious!
This year, a full-year subscription to Better Homes & Gardens magazine will be included with each paid admission to the show. Another perk is that free admission for two is available by visiting the CenturyLink Field parking garage during the show and taking a test drive in a Toyota from the Western Washington Toyota.
“Get Your Dream On” is set for Oct. 5-7 at the CenturyLink Field Event Center. Show hours are 10am to 8pm Friday and Saturday; and 10am to 4pm Sunday. Admission is $12 for adults, and purchasers of E-tickets receive free parking. For more information and to purchase tickets online, visit SeattleHomeShow.com.
