“What did you do this summer?”

It's the most popular question asked on the first day back to school. Are your kids ready to talk about their summer adventures? I hope you made some special memories this summer, it always goes by too quickly!

Our Northshore School District is one of the top reasons that people choose to make Woodinville home. We're fortunate to live and raise our families in a community that values education. As Northshore students consistently outpace their state, national and international peers, we say a huge thank you to our district teachers, principals and support staff who are getting classrooms ready for the new  school year. With fond memories of volunteering in my kids' classrooms, and especially as a PTA President, my warm support goes out to all the parents who are signing up to make a difference this year.

All the information you need about starting back to school can be found on the Northshore School District website, as well as pointers about getting your kids ready for their new schedule. I also share these pointers for quick and healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack ideas, with my best wishes for the first day of school!
