Bicentennial Celebration at Columbia Winery

Fifty fabulous years of wine making here in Woodinville will be celebrated this weekend at the Columbia Winery. A gala event, featuring live music, gourmet food, and premium wines, is set for Friday evening, September 14. Ticket details and stories of this landmark's history can be found at The Columbia Winery website.

Purchased by Gallo last June, Columbia's hospitality is exemplary of why our home is known as Woodinville Wine Country. The winery was founded in 1962 by 10 friends, six of whom were University of Washington professors. Now, fifty years later, we can sip their first ever sparkling wine, as well as their special Anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon, and toast their vision come true that European vines would thrive in our state's climate.
