End-of-Summer-Checklist for Homeowners

While spring is typically when you get excited to tackle a big house project, fall may in fact be the smarter time, both for the well-being of your house and your pocketbook. Your house may have outdoor landscaping and maintenance that ideally should be taken care of before winter weather sets in. Outdoor painting, deck and patio work, not to mention touch ups and caulking are also great projects to do on Indian summer days.

Focusing on your house in the fall is a two-season winning plan — you avoid winter problems and welcome in spring with house projects already checked off your "to do" list! As home inspectors always say, prioritize your projects to keep your home market ready. If you have any questions about preparing your home for the winter, or for a future sale, please call! I have a referral list of service providers that I'm happy to share.
